Description:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1090044946, Department of Social Education (4), dated March 25, 2020.
2. To encourage widespread learning of Taiwanese Hokkien and enhance teachers' professional development and students' language proficiency, the Ministry of Education is organizing the aforementioned certification examination. Schools are requested to inform current teachers, indigenous language teaching support staff, and students to actively register for the exam.
3. Key information regarding the certification examination is summarized as follows:
(1) The examination is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2020. Online registration and group registration services will be available from April 10, 2020, to May 8, 2020.
(2) To encourage student participation, candidates aged 19 and below are exempt from the registration fee.
(3) The examination handbook, registration system, and related information can be found on the "Ministry of Education 2020 Taiwanese Hokkien Language Proficiency Certification Examination" website (URL: https://blgjts.moe.edu.tw).

4. There are additional incentives for group registrations for this examination. Schools are encouraged to actively assist students with group registration. The group representative with the highest number of registered participants has a chance to win a Taiwan scenic spot map (including a magnet, limited to 500 sets). The distribution will be based on the number of participants in descending order. The general examination center will announce the list of winners on the official certification website in early June 2020 and will mail the prizes in mid-June 2020. Additionally, schools with over 30 group registrations will receive administrative rewards.
5. Schools are requested to assist in publicizing this information through electronic scrolling displays, bulletin boards, and other channels.
