Description:
1. In accordance with the letter from the Department of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, No. 1090076251, dated June 30, 2020.
2. The purpose of this program is to create an educational environment for the children of foreign professionals, as planned by the "Implementation Plan for Supporting Education for Overseas Talent Recruitment in Taiwan." The goal is to attract and retain foreign professionals in Taiwan through this educational support program, ultimately encouraging them to establish roots in Taiwan.
3. The aforementioned special class for children of overseas recruited talent will begin admissions in the 2020 academic year, with a total of 25 available spots. The target applicants and registration dates are as follows:
(1)Target Applicants: 10th-grade students who meet one of the following criteria.
1. Children of foreign professionals, foreign specialized professionals, and foreign high-level professionals as defined in Article 4 of the "Act for the Recruitment and Employment of Foreign Professionals."
2. Children of foreign professionals formally employed by registered enterprises in Taoyuan.
3. Children eligible under the "Regulations Governing the Admission of Children of Overseas Outstanding Scientific and Technological Talent to Study in Taiwan."
