Description:
I. Our organization has long been organizing teacher training courses, sharing suitable animal protection lesson plans and teaching resources with teachers to enhance their understanding of animal protection education and their on-site teaching abilities, guiding children to respect life and care for animals, and building their capacity for animal protection in daily life, putting it into practice.
II. This year, guided by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, two teacher empowerment workshops will be held. The dates, locations, and registration information are as follows. The lineup of instructors is strong, and the content is rich, including keynote speeches and discussions, on-site visits and discussions at zoos, and guidance for lesson plan ideation. It is hoped that through the two-day empowerment camp, teachers will understand the welfare issues and difficulties of performing animals and then develop related lesson plans. We sincerely request your school to encourage teachers to participate enthusiastically and grant them official leave.
(I) Taipei Session
1. Date: August 11-12, 2020 (Tuesday, Wednesday), 12 hours over two days
