I. Activity Objectives: To promote cultural equity initiatives at the Hengshan Calligraphy Art Museum, foster cultural access for all ethnic groups, and cultivate interest in calligraphy and art. This will be achieved through the organization of the "Calligraphy Fun Together ~ Intergenerational Calligraphy Workshop," "Original Calligraphy Power ~ Indigenous Calligraphy Workshop," and "Writing the World's Style ~ New Immigrant Calligraphy Workshop." These workshops invite diverse ethnic groups to participate in this intergenerational, cross-cultural calligraphy movement.
II. Activity Name: Original Calligraphy Power ~ Indigenous Calligraphy Workshop
(I) Activity Time: 1st Session: 8/14 (Fri) - 8/15 (Sat); 2nd Session: 8/28 (Fri) - 8/29 (Sat)
(II) Activity Plan: Invite Atayal artist Milu Hayung and Amis calligrapher Mayaw Fuyou as instructors to guide indigenous students and their parents in understanding the rich indigenous calligraphy art and its creative expressions across different writing systems.
III. Activity Name: Writing the World's Style ~ New Immigrant Calligraphy Workshop
(I) Activity Time: 1st Session: 8/21 (Fri) - 8/22 (Sat); 2nd Session: 9/19 (Sat) - 9/20 (Sun)
(II) Activity Plan: Invite calligraphers Huang Po-Ssu, Chou Chih-Ping, and Chen Po-Hsi as instructors to lead new immigrants and their children in exploring the traditions and innovations of calligraphy, as well as appreciating the cross-disciplinary calligraphic expressions from around the world. This aims to inspire participants to reflect on the diversity of their own cultures.
