"109 Academic Year Teacher Book Reading Test" Implementation Plan

I. Important information regarding the aforementioned test is summarized as follows:
(1) Registration Period: From September 7, 2020 (Monday) to September 18, 2020 (Friday). Please register and complete the remittance procedures directly on the Taian Elementary School Teacher's Professional Book Reading Network (http://blog.taes.tyc.edu.tw/tycreading/). Late applications will not be accepted. We kindly request your school to assist in posting this notice and remind interested teachers to complete the registration procedures within the stipulated period.
(2) Test Date and Location: Saturday, November 14, 2020, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Taian Elementary School in this city. Participants are encouraged to carpool or use public transportation to attend the test.
(3) This test will be conducted in written format. There are 6 selected books for the test. The examination fee for each book is NT$200. Each participant can take exams for a maximum of 5 books (please assess your writing speed and ability to decide the number of subjects to register for).
(4) The reward system for participants is as follows:
1. For scores of 90 points (inclusive) or above in a single subject, a certificate will be awarded for each book (equivalent to 0.2 points for research/publication). Additionally, 24 hours of in-service training will be granted as encouragement.
2. For scores of 80 points (inclusive) or above, but less than 90 points, a certificate will be awarded for each book (equivalent to 0.15 points for research/publication). Additionally, 18 hours of in-service training will be granted as encouragement.
3. For scores of 70 points (inclusive) or above, but less than 80 points, a certificate of achievement will be awarded for each book. Additionally, 15 hours of in-service training will be granted as encouragement.
4. For scores of 60 points (inclusive) or above, but less than 70 points, a certificate of achievement will be awarded for each book. Additionally, 10 hours of in-service training will be granted as encouragement.
5. Scores below 59 points will not receive any rewards.
6. Participants who arrive on time for the test on the day of the examination (regardless of subject) will be granted a basic 2 hours of in-service training.
7. The standard for awarding research/publication points is based on the "Review Guidelines for Scoring Research and Publications of Educational Personnel in Senior and Secondary Schools in this City."
