National Taipei University of Education is organizing the "Spring of Classroom Teaching - Introductory Training Workshop on Collaborative Learning in Groups"

Description:
1. In accordance with the National Taipei University of Education's letter No. 1090420101, dated August 31, 2020.
2. "Group cooperative learning" is a teaching strategy that helps improve students' academic achievement, enhance their learning motivation, develop cooperation and communication skills, increase self-esteem and promote ethnic integration, and facilitate adaptive development. It is a teaching strategy with multiple benefits. To enable teachers to understand how to plan and design "group cooperative learning," how to select appropriate cooperative learning models, how to teach cooperation skills, and how to evaluate the effectiveness of implementation, the aforementioned workshop is planned.
3. Workshop schedule and location:
(1) Northern Region: Saturday, September 12, 2020, and Sunday, September 13, 2020, Room 406, 4th Floor, Activity Center, National Taipei University of Education (No. 134, Section 2, Heping East Road, Da'an District, Taipei City).
(2) Central Region: Saturday, September 19, 2020, and Sunday, September 20, 2020, Room G1, 4th Floor, Taichung Minds Conference Center (No. 107, Section 2, Wenxin Road, Xitun District, Taichung City).
4. The number of participants for this program is limited. The organizer will accept registrations on a first-come, first-served basis until full. The target participants are as follows:
(1) Principals, academic affairs directors, and participating teachers selected for the "Group Cooperative Learning Deep Cultivation Schools" program for the 2020 academic year (participation is mandatory). Principals, academic affairs directors, and participating teachers who have already attended the "Professional Training Workshop" organized by this unit from the 2012 to 2019 academic years are exempt from this introductory professional training workshop.
(2) Participating teachers selected for the "Group Cooperative Learning Partner Schools" program for the 2020 academic year (participation is mandatory). If the participating teachers have already attended the "Professional Training Workshop" organized by this unit from the 2012 to 2019 academic years, they are exempt from this introductory professional training workshop.
(3) Teachers from elementary, junior high, and senior high vocational schools (including elementary, junior high, and senior high vocational schools) attending in pairs.
(4) Subject guidance members from county and city education bureaus.
(5) Professors from teacher education institutions or departments related to education.
5. Please register for the introductory workshop through the event section of the "Group Cooperative Learning" website for this program (https://cirn.moe.edu.tw/Cooperation/index.aspx?sid=19). Participation is confirmed after the administrator approves the registration.
