Academic Affairs Announcement

National Kaohsiung Normal University is organizing the "109 Academic Year Secondary School Language Field - Hokkien Language Specialty Post-Baccalaureate Education Credit Program (Class A)". Teachers are encouraged to sign up.

Description:  
I. In accordance with the letter No. 1091010158 from National Kaohsiung Normal University dated December 7, 2020.
II. Eligibility requirements are as follows (all three must be met):
(1) University degree: Graduates of public or private independent colleges and universities, or overseas independent colleges and universities recognized by the Ministry of Education, with a bachelor's degree or higher.
(2) Language proficiency: Possession of a Hokkien (Min Nan) intermediate or advanced proficiency certificate, including
1. An intermediate or advanced Hokkien (Min Nan) proficiency certificate issued by the central education authority.
2. A valid certificate from another Hokkien (Min Nan) certification exam that is equivalent to Level B1 or higher of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF).
3. For the qualification in point 2 above, the certification exam provider must have independently compared and announced the relevant research and reports on their official website in accordance with the CEF framework, proving that the certification exam and the resulting certificate meet the recognized standards of CEF Level B1 or higher, for reference and use by government agencies, schools, or the public.
(3) Completion of educational professional courses (meeting one of the following qualifications):
1. Possession of a valid secondary school teacher's certificate.
2. Possession of a certificate of completion for pre-service secondary school teacher education.
III. Number of students: 30 students per class (National Kaohsiung Normal University reserves the right to cancel the class if fewer than 25 students enroll).
IV. Registration fee: NT$1,500.
V. Registration period: Submission of relevant application forms from December 22, 2020, to December 31, 2020.
VI. Please refer to the admission brochure for registration methods. Announcement date: Scheduled for January 25, 2021, on the website of the College of Continuing Education, National Kaohsiung Normal University, with individual notification to admitted students.
