II. The aforementioned methods are summarized as follows (for details, please refer to the implementation plan):
(I) Participants and categories:
1. Children's poetry creation: Lower grades (1st to 2nd grade of elementary school).
2. Essay appreciation: Middle grades (3rd to 4th grade of elementary school), Upper grades
(5th to 6th grade of elementary school).
3. Junior high school essays: 1st to 3rd grade of junior high school.
(II) Each person is limited to submitting one entry per category (elementary school students should submit based on grade level and theme).
The entries will be collected by school teachers at the end of April and October each year and submitted according to the
schedule announced on the city's Reading New Taoyuan website (http://read.tyc.edu.tw/).

(III) Results announcement: After evaluation in mid-June and mid-December each year, the results will be announced on the city's Reading New Taoyuan website.

(IV) Awards:
1. Five "Special Excellence" awards: One certificate of merit and a NT$500 gift certificate (20 recipients in total across 4 categories).
2. Fifteen "Excellence" awards: One certificate of merit and a NT$300 gift certificate (60 recipients in total across 4 categories).
3. Fifteen "Merit" awards: One certificate of merit and a NT$200 gift certificate (60 recipients in total across 4 categories).
4. Participation award: A NT$100 gift certificate (20 recipients randomly selected from the 4 categories of participants).
