2021 "Outdoor Education Quality Curriculum Modules and Innovative Teaching Case Selection Project" Case

| 1. | In accordance with the letter from the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration (hereinafter referred to as "NPEA") dated April 7, 110 (Republic of China calendar), Ref. No. Tai Jiao Guo Shu Guo Zi Di 1100029052. |
| 2. | To implement the "Outdoor Education Rooted in the Curriculum, Bringing Learning into the Real World," by selecting and evaluating quality curriculum modules and innovative teaching cases, we aim to stimulate teachers' teaching innovation and encourage their involvement in outdoor education. Therefore, the NPEA has commissioned our university to organize the aforementioned selection. |
| 3. | The details of the aforementioned project are as follows: |
| (1) | Eligibility: Current teachers (including substitute and temporary teachers) in public and private junior high schools and elementary schools. |
| (2) | Categories: Divided into two categories: Quality Curriculum Modules and Innovative Teaching Cases. |
| (3) | Divisions: Each category includes the following two divisions: Junior High Division and Elementary School Division (each division targets students of that educational stage for curriculum and teaching activities). |
| (4) | Restrictions: Each team shall consist of no more than 5 members. Teams may participate across schools, but cannot register for multiple divisions or categories. Each submission can only be entered into one division and category. Each person (team) is limited to one submission. |
| (5) | Timeline: Originally scheduled for July 15, 110, but suspended due to the epidemic and the shift to online teaching and epidemic prevention work. To allow more interested teachers sufficient time to prepare and enrich the submissions, the submission deadline has been extended to September 22, 110 (postmark date applies). Please inform your affiliated teachers to actively participate. |
| (6) | Theme: The main theme is "Integrating Outdoor Education into Subject Teaching," not limited to specific subjects. A 3-minute video presenting the learning process and outcomes is also required. |
| (7) | Submission Method: Before the deadline, please complete the online registration and submit the required documents (including 1 copy of the application form, 5 copies of the design format, and 1 CD of the electronic file) via the dedicated selection portal on the website of the Taiwan Marine Education Center, National Taiwan Ocean University. Mail the documents to: Ms. Kao, Taiwan Marine Education Center, National Taiwan Ocean University, 3rd Floor, Integrated Building III, No. 2, Beining Road, Zhongzheng District, Keelung City 202. |

| (1) | Quality Curriculum Modules: From each division, 3-5 Outstanding, 5-10 Excellent, and 10-15 Honorable Mentions will be selected. |
| (2) | Innovative Teaching Cases: From each division, 3-5 Outstanding, 5-10 Excellent, and 10-15 Honorable Mentions will be selected. |

| (1) | Quality Curriculum Modules: Outstanding: Award certificate and NT$25,000 manuscript fee; Excellent: Award certificate and NT$15,000 manuscript fee; Honorable Mention: Award certificate. |
| (2) | Innovative Teaching Cases: Outstanding: Award certificate and NT$15,000 manuscript fee; Excellent: Award certificate and NT$10,000 manuscript fee; Honorable Mention: Award certificate. |
