109-110 Hakka Language Compilation of Subject Terminology

| Subject: | To inform you about the "Hakka Language Terminology Compilation Project for 2020-2021" sharing and exchange session organized by National Central University on behalf of the Ministry of Education. We kindly request your school to encourage relevant personnel to register and participate. Please be informed. |

| I. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Jiao She (4) Zi Di 1100164333, dated November 30, 110. |
| II. | To facilitate the promotion of immersive instruction in local languages and to implement the Ministry's initiative of promoting Taiwan Mother Tongue Day activities in elementary, junior high, and senior high schools, as well as kindergartens, thereby fostering a learning environment for local languages on campus, the Ministry has undertaken the compilation of Hakka terminology for the 8 major subject domains at the elementary and junior high school levels. This initiative aims to encourage teachers to use local languages as their teaching medium and to provide a reference for public use. |
| III. | The schedule for each session of the aforementioned sharing and exchange session is as follows: |
| (1) | Central Region Session: Saturday, December 11, 110, at the Xiangshan Academy Classroom, Yuhang Temple, Miaoli. |
| (2) | Northern Region Session: Sunday, December 19, 110, at National Central University. |
| (3) | Eastern Region Session: Sunday, January 9, 111, at the Library of Ji'an Junior High School, Ji'an Township, Hualien County. |
| (4) | Southern Region Session: Sunday, January 16, 111, at the Auditorium of Wugou Elementary School, Wanluan Township, Pingtung County. |
| IV. | Registration will open two weeks prior to each session. The registration website and event information can be found at http://hakka.ncu.edu.tw/exhibition_2021/. |
