Heimavista 17th Campus Academic Symposium: "AI Era Turning Point, Key Decisions for Campus Websites" Symposium

Description:
I. With the rapid development of AI, AI is no longer just a tool for "answering questions," but is gradually becoming an intelligent partner that can understand needs, assist work, and proactively discover problems. From personal teacher websites, smart campus websites, to AI customer service, AI accessibility, GEO, AI Agents, and campus security image recognition, AI is reshaping campus information services and administrative work. This symposium will show you how AI is moving from "providing information" to "proactive service," and from "single tool" to "intelligent workflow," to explore the possibilities of next-generation campus AI applications. AI is entering campuses, and the real changes are just beginning.
II. Our company will hold three symposia on "AI Era Turning Point, Key Decisions for Campus Websites" from October 20th to 22nd, 115th year of the Republic of China (2026), in Taipei (IEAT Conference Center), Taichung (Howard Plaza Hotel), and Kaohsiung (Chateau de Chine Hotel). "Taoyuan International City EdTech Tour" website launches "AI, From Idea to Interaction, The First Conversation with a Virtual Patient"

Description:
I. To encourage cross-domain learning and diverse exploration among students in Taoyuan City, our school will offer the course "AI, From Idea to Interaction, The First Conversation with a Virtual Patient" in the first semester of the 115th academic year (2026-2027) in conjunction with the "Taoyuan International City EdTech Tour." This course integrates generative AI, web tool development, and smart healthcare scenario practice, connecting fields such as information, history, literature, philosophy, and medicine and health. It guides students through hands-on practice to experience AI applications in different professional fields, expanding their cross-domain learning horizons and career exploration possibilities.
II. The course is limited to students in senior high schools, experimental education at the senior high level, vocational high schools (grades 1-3), and junior high school (grade 9) in Taoyuan City. Eligible students in Taoyuan City are welcome to register.
III. The course "AI, From Idea to Interaction, The First Conversation with a Virtual Patient" will be held on October 3rd, 115th year of the Republic of China (2026) (Saturday) from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (lunch provided).

"2026 CCCCE National Science and Art E-sports Competition"

Description:
I. In accordance with the Kaohsiung City Government Education Bureau's letter No. Gao Shi Jiao Gao Zi Di 11537363600 on September 16, 115th year of the Republic of China (2026).
II. The aforementioned competition combines the e-sports industry with skills training. It is jointly organized by the Kaohsiung City Government Education Bureau, the Chinese Cultural Education Association, and the Chinese Virtual Sports Association, with the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Education as guiding units. Through the collaboration of industry, government, and academia, students are encouraged to learn from classroom study, workplace simulation, to practical application of results, and to enhance the understanding of e-sports and related industries among teachers, students, and the general public.
III. The offline finals of the aforementioned competition will be held on December 12th (Saturday) and December 13th (Sunday), 115th year of the Republic of China (2026) at Warehouse P3, Pier-2 Art Center, Kaohsiung City. The competition items for this year are as follows:
(I) E-sports Series: Valorant, League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics.
(II) Virtual Sports Series: Virtual Cycling, Drone Soccer, Just Dance.
(III) Digital Science and Art Series: Live E-sports Broadcasting, Quick Editing and Broadcasting, AI Game Design, Digital Animation Production.

Notification from National Taipei University of Education regarding the "F1 Generative AI and Educational Applications Instructor Training Workshop"


Description:
I. In accordance with National Taipei University of Education's letter No. Bei Jiao Da Zi Ke Zi Di 1150550065 on September 17, 115th year of the Republic of China (2026).
II. To promote technology-assisted self-directed learning in elementary and junior high schools and to cultivate teachers' ability to use digital technology, platforms, and resources for teaching, in order to enhance students' self-directed learning abilities and improve learning outcomes, this teacher professional development workshop is being held.
III. The information for this teacher professional development workshop is as follows. Please refer to the attachment for detailed plans and registration information:
(I) Course Title: F1 Generative AI and Educational Applications Instructor Training Workshop.
(II) Workshop Date and Time: October 17, 115th year of the Republic of China (2026) (Saturday), 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

(IV) Target Audience: Teachers of elementary and junior high schools who have completed the "B5-1 Generative AI and Educational Applications Workshop" (3 hours) and are qualified instructors of "A1 Digital Learning Workshop (I)" with a valid instructor status. New Taipei City Government organizes "2026 Asian E-sports Open"

Description:

II. To invigorate the e-sports atmosphere in New Taipei City, the New Taipei City Government is collaborating with private organizations to host the "2026 Asian E-sports Open." The competition information is as follows:

National Taiwan Normal University organizes "B4 Digital Teaching Workshop for Various Fields/Subjects and Issues - Natural Sciences (Integrating Diverse Assessment into Teaching and AI Integration in Assessment)"

II. This workshop is co-organized by National Taiwan Normal University and the Changhua County Education Network Center and Digital Learning Promotion Office. It aims to guide teachers in integrating AI digital capabilities into diverse assessment course design through computer practice, and to promote the concept and practice of integrating diverse assessments into inquiry-based teaching, in order to enhance the digital teaching literacy and professional development of elementary and junior high school teachers.

"Taiwan Aspire Association X Microsoft Taiwan "Digital Literacy and Cybersecurity" Online Workshop for Elementary and Junior High School Teachers"

Description:
I. Taiwan Aspire Association and Microsoft Taiwan are holding an online workshop on "Digital Literacy and Cybersecurity" for elementary and junior high school teachers. Teaching materials and resources that can be referenced in thematic teaching will be shared, including digital safety knowledge (covering personal data, bullying, online risks, and digital citizenship), child sexualization and online grooming, teaching applications for preventing child sexual exploitation and related audio-visual materials, and AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
II. Event Dates: [Beginner] October 28, 2026 (Wednesday) 13:30-15:30, [Advanced] November 4, 2026 (Wednesday) 13:30-15:30.
III. Workshop Format: Online course using Slido digital platform (no prior registration required).
IV. Participants: Information, social studies, general, or other relevant subject teachers from elementary and junior high schools nationwide. Each session is limited to 200 participants.

"2026 38th AERC Asian Robot Sports Competition - Kun Shan University Venue" Competition Rules

Description:
I. The "2026 38th AERC Asian Robot Sports Competition" aims to encourage maker innovation and skills training in all levels of schools, enhance students' robot practical skills, and their interdisciplinary technical integration capabilities in electrical engineering, electronics, information, and control. It also guides students in appropriately utilizing artificial intelligence tools for knowledge construction, skill learning, programming, and problem analysis during competition preparation, fostering creative thinking, practical application, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills, and promoting mutual exchange and observation in teaching and learning among teachers and students of all levels.

"National Digital Literacy Self-Assessment"

II. The 12-year compulsory education curriculum includes "Information Technology" as a required subject for junior and senior high schools. For elementary schools, it is integrated into the curriculum through themes/projects/issues within flexible learning courses.

"AI Physical Workshop"

Description:

II. The course information is as follows:
(I) Course Theme: More Than Just Chatting! Let AI Become Your Best Assistant for Administration and Teaching.
(II) Course Description: This course addresses real pain points in campus administration and teaching. It utilizes AI to organize data, manage projects, and create documents, reducing repetitive and time-consuming tasks. Participants will create their own AI workflows and understand how to use tools like Gemini Notebook, Opal, Gamma, and ChatGPT Agent to produce teaching materials or work documents. Whether you are an AI novice or an experienced user, you can complete challenges at your own pace and take home immediately applicable results and toolkits.
(III) Time: September 30, 115th year of the Republic of China (2026) (Wednesday), 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
(IV) Location: Computer Classroom, Renhe Elementary School, Daxi District, Taoyuan City.

III. The Bureau approves teachers participating in the aforementioned workshop to take official leave with substitute teacher coverage. The costs for substitute teachers will be covered by the "Part-time Personnel Remuneration" under "Personnel Expenses - Hired and Part-time Personnel Salaries" of the Bureau's 115th year (2026) budget for the local education development fund. If there is a shortfall, it can be applied for from the Bureau.

To fundamentally solve the problem of excessive teacher workload and allow teachers to focus on teaching, we plan to select teacher teams with enthusiasm and innovation capabilities. Combining the practical experience of frontline educators with generative AI technology, teachers will lead the development of intelligent systems that meet the needs of school administration and teaching affairs, providing them for use by teachers in the city.III. The information for the aforementioned selection project is summarized below:(I) Eligibility:1. Current teachers (including substitute, temporary, and intern teachers) and administrative staff of public and private senior high vocational schools, junior high schools, and elementary schools in the city.


2. 「2026 資訊月暨臺灣教育科技展」

說明:    
一、    台北市電腦商業同業公會主辦「2026 資訊月暨臺灣教育科技展」訂於 11 月 12 日(四)起至 11 月 15 日(日)止,台北世貿一館辦理,展期共 4 日,活動免費參觀。

國立海洋科技博物館辦理「2026全國學生遙控帆船STEAM創客大賽」活動簡章 

說明: 
一、為推動海洋科學與科技教育,培養青少年「動手做」與發揮「創意與巧思」之精神,本館結合國家科學及技術委員會等單位,特規劃辦理旨揭大賽。期透過遙控帆船之設計與創客過程,引導學生運用STEAM跨科領域知識,深化對海洋科技之認識與深度體驗。
二、本競賽相關資訊摘要如下:
(一)參加對象: 以115學年度在學為準之全國各級學校學生。分為「國中小組」(國小5年級至國中3年級)及「高中職組」(高中職1年級至3年級),每隊由2名學生組成,並須有學校現職教師(或個人組隊之學生家長)1名擔任指導老師。
