115th Year (2026) Overseas Youth English Service Camp

Subject:Regarding the "2026 Overseas Youth English Service Camp" organized by the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration, please have your school actively apply to host it. Details are as follows. Please acknowledge receipt.
Details: 
1.In accordance with the "Notice from the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration (hereinafter referred to as the Administration) dated November 13, 114 (2025), Ref. No. 1145505905" and the "Implementation Guidelines for the Ministry of Education's Subsidy for National and Elementary Schools to Promote English Teaching."
2.To encourage overseas youth to participate in domestic English teaching activities, enhance opportunities for elementary and junior high school students to learn English, and increase overseas youth's recognition of Taiwan's excellent culture, the Administration is subsidizing schools to organize the aforementioned project in 2026.
 The relevant schedule is as follows:
(1)Training Period: From 1:00 PM on July 5, 2026 (Sunday) to July 10, 2026 (Friday).
(2)School Camp Service Period: July 11, 2026 (Saturday) to July 24, 2026 (Friday).
3.Notes for applying for this project are as follows:
(1)Volunteer Accommodation: Schools must be able to provide or arrange suitable accommodation and environment for volunteers, such as squat toilets (required), air conditioning, and attention to dormitory hygiene and mosquito control measures.
(2)Curriculum Facilitator Recommendation: Schools should recommend one English teacher per team to serve as a curriculum facilitator. This facilitator must be able to participate in all related meetings and camp activities and be familiar with the operation of video conferencing software and hardware.
(3)School Administrative Support: Schools should form an administrative team and a curriculum planning team. The administrative team will support overall general affairs and assist the curriculum team in providing teaching resources.
(4)Camp Activity Planning: Schools should design English teaching courses that meet students' learning needs and are lively and diverse, in order to enhance their interest in learning English.
(5)Internet Connection and Video Teaching Equipment: Schools must have software for video courses (e.g., Google Meet), information equipment (e.g., webcam, headset), and a stable internet connection.
4.Schools interested in applying should submit 4 copies of the "Application Materials for Hosting the 2026 Overseas Youth English Service Camp" (as attached in Appendix II), duly stamped, directly to this Bureau (Attn: Elementary Education Section) by December 15, 2025 (Monday). Please also send an electronic copy to e-mail: 10060079@ms.tyc.edu.tw. This will allow the Bureau to proceed with the preliminary review.
5.If your school has already received subsidies from the Hakka Affairs Council or the Council of Indigenous Peoples for this activity, the Administration will not provide duplicate subsidies.
6.Attached are the project description and school application materials, one copy each.
