'Heimavista's 17th Campus Academic Symposium: The Turning Point of the AI Era, Key Decisions for Campus Websites

Description:
I. With the rapid development of AI, AI is no longer just a tool for 'answering questions,' but is gradually becoming an intelligent partner capable of understanding needs, assisting with work, and proactively identifying problems. From personal teacher websites, intelligent campus websites, to AI customer service, AI accessibility, GEO, AI Agents, and campus security image recognition, AI is reshaping the way campus information services and administrative work are done. This symposium will show you how AI is moving from 'providing information' to 'proactive service,' and from 'a single tool' to 'intelligent workflows,' exploring the possibilities of next-generation campus AI applications together. AI is entering the campus, and the real change is just beginning.

'Taoyuan International City EdTech Tour' Website Launches 'AI: From Idea to Interaction, The First Conversation with a Virtual Patient'

Description:
I. To encourage cross-disciplinary learning and diverse exploration among students in Taoyuan City, our school will offer the course 'AI: From Idea to Interaction, The First Conversation with a Virtual Patient' in the first semester of the 115th academic year, in conjunction with the 'Taoyuan International City EdTech Tour.' This course integrates generative AI, web tool development, and smart healthcare scenario simulations, connecting fields such as information technology, humanities, history, philosophy, and medicine and health. It guides students through hands-on practice to experience AI applications in different professional fields, broadening their cross-disciplinary learning horizons and career exploration possibilities.
II. The course is limited to students in senior high schools, experimental education at the senior high level, vocational high schools (grades 1-3), and junior high school (grade 9) in Taoyuan City. Eligible students in Taoyuan City are welcome to register.
III. The course 'AI: From Idea to Interaction, The First Conversation with a Virtual Patient' will be held on October 3rd, 115 (2026) (Saturday) from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (lunch provided).

'2026 CCCCE National Science and Art E-sports Competition'

Description:
I. In accordance with the Kaohsiung City Government Education Bureau's letter No. GaoshijiaoGaozi No. 11537363600 dated September 16th, 115 (2026).
II. The aforementioned competition combines the e-sports industry with skills development. It is jointly organized by the Kaohsiung City Government Education Bureau, the Chinese Cultural Education Association, and the Chinese Virtual Sports Association, with the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Education serving as guiding units. Through the collaboration of industry, government, and academia, students are encouraged to progress from classroom learning to workplace simulation and practical application, while enhancing the understanding of e-sports and related industries among teachers, students, and the general public.
III. The offline finals for the aforementioned competition will be held on December 12th (Saturday) and 13th (Sunday), 115 (2026), at Warehouse P3, Pier-2 Art Center, Kaohsiung City. The competition categories are as follows:
(I) E-sports Series: Valorant, League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics.
(II) Virtual Sports Series: Virtual Cycling, Drone Soccer, Just Dance.
(III) Digital Science and Art Series: E-sports Live Broadcast, Quick Editing and Broadcasting, AI Game Design, Digital Animation Production.

Notification from National Taipei University of Education regarding the 'F1 Generative AI and Educational Applications Instructor Training Workshop'


Description:
I. In accordance with National Taipei University of Education's letter No. Bèijiàodàxué Zīkēzi No. 1150550065 dated September 17th, 115 (2026).
II. To promote technology-assisted self-directed learning in elementary and junior high schools and to cultivate teachers' ability to use digital technology, platforms, and resources for teaching, thereby enhancing students' self-directed learning abilities and learning outcomes, this teacher professional development workshop is being organized.
III. The information for this teacher professional development workshop is as follows. Please refer to the attachment for detailed plans and registration information:
(I) Course Title: F1 Generative AI and Educational Applications Instructor Training Workshop.
(II) Workshop Date and Time: October 17th, 115 (2026) (Saturday), from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
(III) Location: Classroom A502, Administration Building, National Taipei University of Education.
(IV) Target Audience: Elementary and junior high school teachers who have completed the 'B5-1 Generative AI and Educational Applications Workshop' (3 hours) and are currently qualified instructors for the 'A1 Digital Learning Workshop (I)' with an unexpired instructor status. Proof of completion of relevant workshops and instructor certificates must be uploaded in the registration form.
IV. Notes:

New Taipei City Government to Organize the '2026 Asian E-sports Open'

Description:
I. In accordance with Taoyuan City Government's letter No. FushitiJingzi No. 1150262352 dated September 15th, 115 (2026).
II. To invigorate the e-sports atmosphere in New Taipei City, the New Taipei City Government is collaborating with private organizations to host the '2026 Asian E-sports Open.' The competition details are as follows:
(I) Eligibility: No nationality restrictions. Participants must be 15 years of age or older.
(II) Games: League of Legends and Valorant.
(III) Prizes: Total prize pool exceeding NT$200,000.

National Taiwan Normal University to Organize 'Workshop B4: Digital Teaching Workshops for Various Fields/Subjects and Issues - Natural Sciences (Integrating Diverse Assessment into Teaching and AI in Assessment)'

Description:
I. In accordance with National Taiwan Normal University's letter No. ShidaKejiaozi No. 1151026229 dated September 16th, 115 (2026).
II. This workshop is jointly organized by National Taiwan Normal University and the Changhua County Education Network Center and Digital Learning Promotion Office. It aims to guide teachers in integrating AI digital capabilities into diverse assessment course design through computer practice, and to promote the concept and practice of incorporating diverse assessment into inquiry-based teaching, thereby enhancing the digital teaching literacy and professional development of elementary and junior high school teachers.

'Taiwan Aspire Association X Microsoft Taiwan: Digital Literacy and Cybersecurity Online Workshop for Elementary and Junior High School Teachers'

Description:
I. The Taiwan Aspire Association and Microsoft Taiwan are hosting an online workshop on 'Digital Literacy and Cybersecurity' for elementary and junior high school teachers. The workshop will share teaching materials and resources that can be referenced in teaching these topics, including digital safety knowledge (covering personal information, cyberbullying, online risks, and digital citizenship), child sexualization and online grooming, teaching applications for preventing child sexual exploitation and related audio-visual materials, as well as AI tools like Microsoft Copilot.
II. Activity Dates: [Beginner] October 28th, 2026 (Wednesday) 13:30-15:30, [Advanced] November 4th, 2026 (Wednesday) 13:30-15:30.
III. Workshop Format: Online course using the Slido digital platform (no prior registration required).
IV. Participants: Information, social studies, general, or other relevant subject teachers from junior and senior high schools across all counties and cities. Each session is limited to 200 participants.

'2026 38th AERC Asian Robotics Sports Competition - Kun Shan University Venue' Competition Regulations

Description:
I. The aforementioned '2026 38th AERC Asian Robotics Sports Competition' aims to encourage the promotion of maker innovation and skills education in schools at all levels, enhance students' robotics practical skills, and improve cross-disciplinary technical integration capabilities in electrical engineering, electronics, information technology, and control systems. It also seeks to guide students in appropriately utilizing artificial intelligence tools for knowledge construction, skill learning, programming, and problem analysis during competition preparation, thereby fostering creativity, practical application, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills, and promoting mutual exchange and observation in teaching and learning among teachers and students at all levels.
II. The event will be held on December 12th, 115 (2026) (Saturday) in our university's gymnasium. We kindly request your school to encourage teachers and students to form teams and participate. 'National Digital Literacy Self-Assessment'

Description:
I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Taijiaozi(3) No. 1152702911 dated September 16th, 115 (2026).
II. The 12-year compulsory education curriculum includes 'Information Technology' as a required subject for junior and senior high schools. For elementary schools, it is integrated into the curriculum through thematic/project-based/issue-based approaches within flexible learning courses.
III. To cultivate students' healthy, reasonable, and legal attitudes and habits towards information technology use, enhance the positive effects of digital learning, and improve teachers' digital literacy, the Ministry of Education is holding the 'National Digital Literacy Self-Assessment' activity from now until November 15th, 115 (2026) (Sunday). Please assist in placing the activity banner (as attached) on your school's and family education center's websites, and link to the activity website (URL: https://isafeevent.moe.edu.tw/). 'AI Physical Workshop'

(I) Course Theme: More Than Just Chatting! Let AI Be Your Best Assistant for Academic Affairs and Teaching.
(II) Course Description: This course addresses real pain points in campus administration and teaching. It utilizes AI to organize data, manage projects, and create documents, reducing repetitive and time-consuming tasks. Participants will create their own AI workflows and understand how to produce teaching materials or work documents using tools like Gemini Notebook, Opal, Gamma, and ChatGPT Agent. Whether you are an AI beginner or an advanced user, you can complete challenges at your own pace and take home immediately applicable results and toolkits.
(III) Time: September 30th, 115 (2026) (Wednesday), 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
(IV) Location: Computer Classroom, Renhe Elementary School, Daxi District, Taoyuan City.

III. The Bureau approves teachers participating in the aforementioned workshop to take official leave with substitute teacher coverage. The costs for substitute teachers will be covered by the 'Part-time Personnel Remuneration' under 'Personnel Expenses - Hired and Part-time Personnel Salaries' within the 'Local Education Development Fund' budget for 115 (2026) allocated to your school. To fundamentally address the issue of excessive teacher workload and allow teachers to focus their efforts on the essence of teaching, we aim to select teacher teams with enthusiasm and innovative capabilities. By combining the practical experience of frontline educators with generative AI technology, teachers will lead the development of intelligent systems that meet the needs of school administration and academic affairs, providing them for teachers in the city to reference and utilize.
III. The information for the aforementioned selection project is summarized as follows:
(I) Eligibility:
1. Current teachers (including substitute, temporary, and intern teachers) and administrative staff in public and private senior high schools, junior high schools, and elementary schools in this city.
2. Participants can register individually or as a team (each team is recommended to have 1-3 members).
(II) Submission Theme: Design or develop tools centered around generative AI (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, or other AI models) to assist with tasks in the educational field.
(III) Registration Period: From now until October 11th, 115 (2026) (Sunday).

Description:
I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Taijiaozi(3) No. 1152702693 dated September 1st, 115 (2026).
II. The Ministry of Education, to encourage teachers to cultivate AI literacy in elementary and junior high school students, lay the foundation for AI education, and stimulate students' interest in learning through game-based competitions, familiarize them with AI machine learning frameworks, and prepare them for future competitiveness, is organizing the '2026 Presidential Cup AI Literacy Championship.'
III. After this city holds the aforementioned city-level competition, the top-ranked teams in each group (2 students and 1 supervising teacher) will participate in national competition training and represent this city in the Ministry of Education's competition.
IV. The competition information is summarized as follows:
(I) Competition Categories:
1. Elementary School Squid Group (Grades 3-6 students).
2. Junior High School Squid Group (Grades 7-9 students).
3. Elementary School Rural Squid Group (Grades 3-6 students).
4. Junior High School Rural Squid Group (Grades 7-9 students).
(II) Participants: Students from public and private elementary and junior high schools in this city.
(III) Competition Dates: October 3rd (Saturday) to October 4th, 115 (2026) (Sunday).
(IV) Competition Venue: Computer classrooms at Renhe Elementary School in Daxi District, Datong Elementary School in Yangmei District, and other co-organizing schools are expected to host simultaneous competitions (competition venue locations will be adjusted based on the number of registered teams).
(V) Registration Period and Method:
1. Registration Period: September 10th (Thursday) to September 18th, 115 (2026) (Friday), before 12:00 PM.
2. Teams are to be nominated by their schools and registered on the official website (https://game.tyc.edu.tw/AI/).

V. Teachers who guide students participating in the competition and win awards will be recognized separately according to the competition results and the 'Taoyuan City Public Elementary, Junior High, and Senior High Schools and Kindergartens Staff Reward and Punishment Regulations.'
VI. The Bureau approves team leaders or supervising teachers participating in the finals to take official leave with substitute teacher coverage on the day of the finals. The costs for substitute teachers will be covered by the 'Part-time Personnel Remuneration' under 'Personnel Expenses - Hired and Part-time Personnel Salaries' within the 'Local Education Development Fund' budget for 115 (2026) allocated to your school. If there is any shortfall, please apply to the Bureau. As the event falls on a weekend, compensatory leave can be taken within 2 years based on actual attendance.

I. Competition Regulations for the '2026 National Student Remote-Controlled Sailboat STEAM Maker Competition' organized by National Museum of Marine Science and Technology 

Description: 
I.To promote marine science and technology education and cultivate the spirit of 'hands-on making' and 'creativity and ingenuity' among young people, our museum, in collaboration with the National Science and Technology Council and other organizations, has planned and organized the aforementioned competition. Through the design and maker process of remote-controlled sailboats, students are guided to apply STEAM interdisciplinary knowledge to deepen their understanding and experience of marine technology.
II.The competition information is summarized as follows:
(I)Participants: All students from schools nationwide enrolled in the 115th academic year. Categories include 'Elementary and Junior High School Group' (grades 5-9) and 'Senior High and Vocational Group' (grades 1-3). Each team consists of 2 students and requires 1 current school teacher (or a parent of individual student participants) as a supervisor.
(II)Registration Period and Method: From now until August 18th, 115 (2026) (Tuesday) at 23:59. All registrations must be completed online through the official website of the '2026 National Student Remote-Controlled Sailboat STEAM Maker Competition' (URL: https://mslc.nmmst.gov.tw/evtsite1/content/RCSail2026/ ).
