Description:

1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Jiao She (4) Zi Di 1080041845 dated March 26, 2019.

2. To encourage all citizens to learn Minnan language and enhance teachers' professional development and students' language proficiency, the Ministry of Education is holding the aforementioned certification examination. Schools are requested to inform current teachers, local language teaching support staff, and students to actively register for the exam.

3. The information for the certification examination is summarized as follows:

(1) The examination will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019. Online registration and group registration services will be available from April 12, 2019, to May 10, 2019.

(2) To encourage students to register, candidates aged 19 and below are exempt from the registration fee.

(3) The examination brochure, registration system, and related information can be found on the website for the "Ministry of Education 2019 Minnan Language Proficiency Certification Examination" (Website: https://blgjts.moe.edu.tw).

4. To promote the aforementioned examination, national elementary and junior high schools are invited to apply for certification teaching materials (limited to 2,000 sets, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis based on application submission time, while supplies last). 5. There are additional incentives for group registrations for this examination. Schools are encouraged to actively assist students in group registration. Representatives of groups that provide assistance in registration have a chance to win a certification tote bag (limited to 500 bags). Distribution will be prioritized based on the number of participants in group registrations. The general examination center will announce the list of winners on the official certification website in early June 2019 and will mail the prizes in mid-June 2019.

6. Schools are requested to assist in publicizing the relevant information through electronic scrolling displays, bulletin boards, and other channels.
