I. Recently, we have received numerous calls from parents complaining about cases where the Bureau commissioned private institutions to organize information sessions for the 12-year basic education curriculum guidelines and paid testing for students.

II. Regarding the promotion of the 12-year basic education curriculum guidelines and related matters, the Bureau has not commissioned any cram schools or private institutions. Please assist your school in posting this notice and strengthening its promotion.

III. Additionally, the Bureau will be holding information sessions for parents on the 12-year basic education curriculum guidelines from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Taoyuan City Taoyuan District Zhongshan Elementary School, and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at Taoyuan City Zhongli District Yuansheng Elementary School. Please encourage parents to participate actively. Also, please utilize parent-teacher meetings and parent education days effectively to promote information about the 12-year basic education curriculum in a timely manner, so that parents can understand and participate.
