Description:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Shi San Zi No. 1080058765 dated April 23, 2019.
2. In response to the requirement that the teaching mentor certificate expires after ten years and needs to be renewed under the Teacher Professional Development Practice Program, the aforementioned plan is being implemented.
3. The target audience for the aforementioned plan is current primary and secondary school teachers and principals who obtained teaching mentor certification qualifications before 2010, including teaching mentors certified by the Taipei City Government.
4. The following are the important notes for the 2019 teaching mentor certificate renewal process:
(1) The renewal conditions can be met by choosing one of two methods (details in the implementation plan):
1. If invited to serve as a teaching mentor during the certificate's validity period and complete one of the two related teaching mentorship tasks, you can participate in the renewal workshop and have your certificate reissued.
2. If you have not completed any teaching mentorship tasks during the certificate's validity period, you can be recommended by your school to participate in the renewal workshop and complete four professional practice tasks. After review and approval, your certificate will be reissued.
(2) Teachers who wish to renew their certificates must have their applications publicly reviewed and approved by the relevant school committee. Then, they must submit the school recommendation form and relevant supporting documents to the designated website: http://bit.ly/ntnu108_tch10r.
