Description:
I. In accordance with the letter from National Central University, No. 1083400575, dated May 17, 2019.
II. To popularize energy science and technology education in elementary and secondary schools, and to continue to cultivate and promote it, this teacher workshop aims to enhance teachers' energy knowledge through capacity-building courses. It widely recruits teachers from elementary and secondary schools in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli who are enthusiastic about promoting energy and environmental education. Through the transmission of energy science and technology knowledge and hands-on practice with teaching aids, the course enriches teachers' energy knowledge, enhances their understanding of environmental and energy-related issues, and teaches them how to practice energy saving and carbon reduction in daily life. Furthermore, it aims to transform this into teaching energy, develop related teaching aids and lesson plans for the 108 curriculum, and integrate practical experiences into teaching activities. The goal is to cultivate elementary and secondary students with basic energy science and technology knowledge and literacy, so as to gradually achieve the goal of popularizing energy science and technology education.
III. The information regarding the aforementioned teacher workshop is as follows:
(I) Venue: Conference Room E2-101, Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Central University.
(II) Registration Method: From now until June 17, 2019 (Monday) at 17:00, please register online at http://t.cn/ESQUKkw. No other registration methods will be accepted.
(III) One activity brochure is attached. For detailed course information, please refer to the attachment.
IV. Participants in this program will be granted official leave by their respective schools in accordance with their authority, under the principle of self-management of course affairs.
