Description:
I. In accordance with the "Implementation Guidelines for the 108th Academic Year National Student Art Competition" and the resolution of the preparatory meeting for the city's 108th Academic Year Student Art Competition held on July 8, 108.
II. The following are the amendments to the city's guidelines:
(I) For the painting category, upper elementary school regular class group, the top three winners of the city's student art competition whose works are selected by the national competition judges shall participate in the on-site creation event to be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, November 16, 108, at the Museum of Posts and Telecommunications (time and location are subject to change and will be notified separately). (City Guidelines P.2)
(II) For the calligraphy category, 12 outstanding works will be selected from each group, and participants must attend the on-site writing event to be held on Saturday, October 26, 108, at the school undertaking the event in the northern or southern district for that year (time and location are subject to change and will be notified separately) (City Guidelines P.3). The on-site writing guidelines will be sent separately.
III. Important matters regarding the competition are summarized as follows:
(I) Undertaking Schools: Ruifeng Elementary School (North District) and Yangmei Junior High School (South District).
(II) Registration Period: From Saturday, September 21, 108, to Friday, September 27, 108, before 23:59, register students on a school basis through the "Taoyuan City Student Art Competition Registration Website" (http://art105.tyc.edu.tw/).
(III) On-site Submission Dates:
1. Elementary School Group: Thursday, October 3, 108.
2. Junior High, Senior High, and Vocational School Groups: Friday, October 4, 108.
(IV) Judging Date: Saturday, October 19, 108.
(V) Results Announcement Date: Tuesday, October 22, 108.
(VI) Return Date for Works Not Selected for National Competition Representation:
1. Elementary School Group: Thursday, October 24, 108.
2. Junior High, Senior High, and Vocational School Groups: Friday, October 25, 108.
IV. A pre-competition system operation and briefing session will be held. Relevant personnel from your school are requested to attend. The time and location will be notified by the bureau in a separate letter.
V. Attached are the implementation guidelines for this case, with amendments and additions highlighted in bold black or red font. As this matter involves the important rights and interests of students, please ensure that your school carefully reviews the aforementioned implementation guidelines and relays them to the students and parents concerned to safeguard their rights and interests in participating in the competition.
