Description:

1. The GEPT Elementary Listening and Reading test is equivalent to Level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Passing this test allows you to apply for a "Listening and Reading Pass Certificate." You can later take the Speaking and Writing tests (passing both will result in a "Four Skills Certificate") or proceed to higher-level tests such as the GEPT Intermediate Listening and Reading.

2. The GEPT Elementary score is recognized for the excess score ranking in the 12-year compulsory education exemption entrance exam, the joint exemption entrance exam for five-year junior colleges, and the selection entrance exam for four-year universities and two-year junior colleges. It can also be uploaded to the learning portfolio or used as a warm-up exercise before the joint high school entrance examination.

3. Registration for the October 26, 2019 test session is currently open. The center also offers special testing services for students to take exams on campus. Your school can use the score reports provided by the center after the test to understand students' learning outcomes and use them as a reference for on-campus language teaching policies or curriculum planning.
