Description:
1. In accordance with the Regulations on Commemorative Days and Holidays and the Announcement of the Council of Indigenous Peoples dated August 8, 2019,

2. According to Article 4, Paragraph 6 of the aforementioned Regulations, except for the Lunar New Year which is a 3-day holiday, the other
holidays, including the Tomb Sweeping Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Lunar New Year's Eve, and "Indigenous Peoples' Traditional Festivals and Ceremonies",
are each a 1-day holiday. The holiday dates for each indigenous people are announced by the Council of Indigenous Peoples with reference to the customs of each indigenous people and published
online.

3. The Council of Indigenous Peoples, based on the results of the tribal survey in 2010 and with reference to the need for adjustments due to other circumstances for each ethnic group,
has compiled and announced the holiday dates for 2020. Therefore, individuals with indigenous status may present proof of their indigenous identity, such as a household registration transcript or a copy of their household registration,
to apply for leave on the announced holiday dates for the "Indigenous Peoples' Traditional Festivals and Ceremonies" of their respective ethnic groups at their workplace or educational institution. No other documentation is required.
