| Description: |
| I. | APX (Advanced Placement eXams) National High School Mathematics and Science Ability Test is the most authoritative mathematics and science ability test created by National Chiao Tung University. The subjects tested are "Mathematics", "Physics", "Chemistry", and "Biology". All questions are formulated by NCTU professors and rigorously reviewed for reliability and validity. The test is open to students from public and private junior high schools, high schools, and vocational high schools nationwide. In addition to receiving a certificate of participation and a transcript certified by National Chiao Tung University, participants will also receive an assessment item table to help them understand their learning weaknesses and improve their studies. |
| II. | Purpose of the Test: |
| (1) | Through objective score assessment, grasp the mathematics and science learning outcomes of high school students. Big data provides educational institutions with various analytical research, promotes the cultivation of national mathematics and science talents, and enhances students' mathematics and science abilities and international competitiveness. |
| (2) | Provide multi-faceted assessment items for students to understand their learning levels in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology, enhance their self-competitiveness, and smoothly transition to university courses. |

| V. | Test Date: January 19, 2020 (Sunday). |
| VI. | Registration Period: October 11, 2019 to November 20, 2019. Please refer to the attached brochure for registration methods. |
| VII. | Students from low-income and middle-low-income families are exempt from all registration fees for each subject! (Please upload relevant documents as registration attachments during online registration). |
