Explanation:
1. In accordance with the approval memo from the Department of Personnel, Taoyuan City Government, dated October 17, 2019, and the letter from the Civil Service Protection and Training Commission (hereinafter referred to as the "Commission") dated September 27, 2019, Ref. No. Gong Bao Zi No. 1080010132.
2. To show appreciation for the hard work of colleagues in various agencies and schools under the Taoyuan City Government, and considering practical needs, the standards for determining the frequency of health examinations for civil servants and public school personnel under the Taoyuan City Government are calculated on an "annual" basis. That is, examinations conducted within the year that meets the criteria for health examinations can apply for subsidies according to regulations.
3. Furthermore, according to the aforementioned letter from the Commission, regarding the determination of the health examination frequency of "once every 2 years" as stipulated in Article 4, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 2 of the "General Health Examination Implementation Guidelines for Civil Servants," and in reference to the interpretation letter from the Directorate-General of Personnel, Executive Yuan, dated June 6, 2005, Ref. No. Ju Ge Zi No. 0940018045, civil servants only need to undergo a health examination after an interval of one year to meet the requirements. The standard for determining "once every 2 years" from the Commission's email dated February 13, 2019, is no longer applicable from September 27, 2019, which is hereby noted.
