For your information, the Central Election Commission has announced matters concerning the 15th Presidential and Vice Presidential Election. All personnel of this university are required to strictly adhere to the principles of educational and administrative neutrality.

Explanation:

1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai-Jiao-Ren (1) Zi-Di-1080149303 dated October 24, 108 (2019).

2. This election announcement was issued on September 12 of this year (108), and the application for candidacy for the 15th Presidential and Vice Presidential election and the 10th Legislative Yuan election will be accepted from November 18 to 22 of this year.

3. The voting for the aforementioned positions will take place on January 11, 109 (2020). During the election period, all personnel in government agencies (organizations) and schools shall strictly abide by the relevant regulations of the Organic Act of Education and the Civil Service Administrative Neutrality Act (hereinafter referred to as the Neutrality Act) to uphold educational and administrative neutrality.

4. Furthermore, in accordance with Articles 5 and 19 of the Civil Service Act, civil servants shall be diligent and prudent, and shall not use public property unless it is necessary for their duties.

5. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Neutrality Act, civil servants shall not use their official authority or administrative resources to engage in related political activities or behaviors to support specific political parties or candidates for public office.

6. Article 6 of the Organic Act of Education stipulates: "Education shall be based on the principle of neutrality. Schools shall not engage in propaganda or activities for specific political groups. The competent educational administrative authorities and schools shall not compel school administrative personnel, teachers, and students to participate in any political groups or activities."

公物。又依中立法相關規定，公務人員不得為支持特定政

黨或公職候選人，利用職權或動用行政資源從事相關政治

活動或行為。

三、查教育基本法第6條規定：「教育應本中立原則。學校不得

為特定政治團體從事宣傳或活動。主管教育行政機關及學

校亦不得強迫學校行政人員、教師及學生參加任何政治團

體或活動。」
