Description:

I. In accordance with the letter from Dayuan Junior High School, Taoyuan City, dated October 17, 2019, No. 1080008023, and the 2019 Academic Year Initiative Plan for Enhancing Teaching Professionalism and Curriculum Quality in National Elementary and Junior High Schools.

II. To develop innovative life education teaching materials and lesson plans through a competition for life education teaching-integrated curriculum materials and lesson plans, and to promote the developed lesson plans into teaching activities across various domains, Dayuan Junior High School is entrusted to organize the aforementioned competition. The registration methods are as follows:

(I) Participants:

1. Current teachers, substitute teachers, and intern teachers in public and private junior high schools in this city.

2. Each school must participate and is limited to submitting one entry. Each entry may be a collaborative effort by a maximum of three authors.

(II) Submission Theme: Design of life education teaching-integrated curriculum materials and lesson plans. Please refer to the plan for submission specifications.

(III) Registration Deadline:

1. Submission: From now until March 27, 2020 (postmark date as the basis). Please mail all required registration materials via registered mail to Dayuan Junior High School.

(IV) Judging Period: Review from April 1 to April 19, 2020.

(V) Announcement of Winners: Early May 2020.

(VI) Awards: Top 2 winners will receive a commendation and a manuscript fee of NT$870 per thousand characters, up to NT$5,000. Top 3 honorable mentions will receive a certificate of recognition and a manuscript fee of NT$870 per thousand characters, up to NT$3,000. Top 5 merit awards will receive a certificate of recognition and a manuscript fee of NT$870 per thousand characters, up to NT$2,000.
