Announcement: "2020-2021 Academic Year Taoyuan City Students with Disabilities Adaptive Counseling and Placement" Brochure

| The 109th academic year's adaptive counseling and placement for students with disabilities in Taoyuan City is divided into three brochures. Students can only choose one brochure to register and cannot register for multiple. They are also not allowed to participate in the adaptive counseling and placement organized by the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration or other municipalities. Violators will have their placement qualifications revoked. The placement types are as follows: |
| (一) | Brochure for the 109th academic year's adaptive counseling and placement for students with disabilities in special education schools in Taoyuan City. |
| (二) | Brochure for the 109th academic year's adaptive counseling and placement for students with disabilities in high schools with centralized special education classes in Taoyuan City. |
| (三) | Brochure for the 109th academic year's adaptive counseling and placement for students with disabilities in high schools in Taoyuan City. |
| 三、 | The number of available openings will be announced before December 31, 108, on the website of the '109th academic year's adaptive counseling and placement for students with disabilities in Taoyuan City' (https://tu-adapt.set.edu.tw). |
| 四、 | The important placement schedule for the aforementioned brochures is as follows (details in each brochure): |
| (一) | Online registration: Junior high schools must complete the online registration process from February 12, 109, to February 21, 109. |
| (二) | Mailing registration materials: Junior high schools shall compile the collective registration list and send the registration forms to the High School Special Education Resource Center of this city (Taoyuan Special Education School) from February 24, 109, to March 6, 109. |
| 五、 | For those registering for the 109th academic year's adaptive counseling and placement for students with disabilities in high schools in Taoyuan City, the assessment tools for the career transition recommendation form's interest test and aptitude test are as follows: |
| (一) | The 'Adaptive Career Aptitude Test' (Junior High School Version) and 'Situational Career Interest Test' (Junior High School Version) developed by the Research and Development Center for Psychology and Education Testing of National Taiwan Normal University will be used. Schools must assist students in completing the tests before registration. For the aforementioned tests, please apply for an account and password on the Career Testing System website (http://career.ntnu.edu.tw/) and download the test instruction manual for reference. |
| (二) | Considering the objectivity and fairness of the process, only visually impaired students who are unable to take computer-based tests will be administered the 'Junior High School Career Interest Scale (Second Edition)' and the 'Junior High School Newly Compiled Multiple Aptitude Test' as alternatives. |
| 六、 | Please ensure that each school implements individualized testing for students with disabilities and provides adaptive assessment methods based on student needs (such as difficulties with literacy or reading comprehension) to facilitate their appropriate placement in schools. |
| 七、 | Please be sure to post this information on the homepage of your school's website and strengthen publicity, and assist students and parents with needs in preparing registration materials and other related matters. |
