Announcement Compilation

Regarding assemblies and parades in response to recent elections, there are prohibitions or restrictions on objects that may affect flight safety, such as spotlight projectors and laser beams.

I. In accordance with the letter of the Taoyuan City Government, Ref. No. 1080329381, dated December 26, 2019.
II. In view of the upcoming election, various assemblies and parades are being held across the region. To ensure aviation safety, please pay attention to the following matters:
(I) Within a certain distance from airports and aerodromes, it is prohibited to release objects that may obstruct flight safety (including remotely piloted unmanned aerial vehicles, kites, sky lanterns, fireworks, model aircraft, balloons, or any other floating or moving objects that may affect the safety of aircraft flight, if artificially released). If released without the approval of the Civil Aeronautics Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, and verified to be true, a fine of not less than NT$300,000 and not more than NT$1,500,000 will be imposed in accordance with Article 118 of the Civil Aviation Act.
(II) During the flight of an aircraft, no person shall direct spotlight projectors or laser beams at an aircraft. Violators will be subject to criminal liability or fines in accordance with Article 101 of the Civil Aviation Act.
