Inform about two civil aviation law promotions

Taoyuan International Airport Corporation promotes the prohibition of releasing objects that endanger flight in the vicinity of the airport, such as temples, schools, and district offices, to jointly maintain flight safety.

Explanation:
1. In accordance with the letter from the Municipal Government's Department of Transportation, Ref. No. FJT-1090002537, dated January 13, 109 (Republic of China calendar).
2. The objects that endanger flight safety referred to in the above statement include kites, sky lanterns, fireworks, remote-controlled aircraft, balloons, or other floating or moving objects that may affect aircraft flight safety, which are released by humans.
3. For other relevant scope and reporting windows, please refer to the "Procedures for Handling the Release of Objects Endangering Flight Safety in the Vicinity of Taoyuan International Airport" (attached).

When holding related activities in this city, please assist in publicizing the prohibitions or restrictions on objects that endanger flight safety, spotlight projectors, and laser beams.

1. In accordance with the letter from the Municipal Government's Department of Transportation, Ref. No. FJT-1090007304, dated January 10, 109 (Republic of China calendar).
2. In response to recent elections and Lunar New Year activities, to maintain flight safety, please inform the organizing units and the public of the following matters when agencies organize gatherings, parades, or other activities:
(1) Within a certain distance around airports and aerodromes, if you wish to release objects that endanger flight safety (including remotely piloted drones, kites, sky lanterns, fireworks, remote-controlled aircraft, balloons, or other floating or moving objects that may affect aircraft flight safety, which are released by humans), you must apply to the Civil Aeronautics Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications at least 15 days before the event. If the release is not approved by the Administration and is verified, a fine of not less than NT$300,000 and not more than NT$1,500,000 will be imposed in accordance with Article 118 of the Civil Aviation Act.
(2) During aircraft flight, no person shall direct spotlight projectors or laser beams at aircraft. Violators will be subject to criminal penalties or fines in accordance with Article 101 of the Civil Aviation Act.
3. Furthermore, regarding the operation and filming of remotely piloted drones, the special chapter on remotely piloted drones in the Civil Aviation Act came into effect on March 31, 109 (Republic of China calendar), stipulating relevant regulations for the management of remotely piloted drones. Please remind the organizing units applying for activities to comply with the relevant regulations of the Civil Aviation Act.
