Description:

I. In accordance with the letter No. 1090006889 dated January 21, 2020, from the Department of Elementary and Preschool Education (hereinafter referred to as the Department) of the Ministry of Education.

II. To enhance the professional knowledge and skills of elementary school teachers in remedial mathematics instruction, the Department plans to organize this workshop by providing simple, basic, and clear teaching materials and strategies. The aim is to strengthen students' interest in and understanding of mathematics.

III. The aforementioned workshop will be held on March 7 and May 2, 2020, at Kangle Elementary School in Taitung City, Taitung County. Priority will be given to current teachers in public elementary schools (including national schools) who have completed the required hours for remedial education teacher training and are currently teaching remedial courses at their schools. Each session is limited to 100 participants due to venue constraints, and registration will close once the limit is reached. Information will also be announced on the "Resources Platform for Learning Support for Elementary and Junior High School Students" and the "Latest News" section of the "Technology-Based Assessment System" of the Department.

IV. For personnel recommended by the school to attend the aforementioned workshop, please grant approval for official leave (business trip). For those attending on holidays, the Bureau agrees to allow compensatory leave within one year of the workshop's conclusion, provided that teaching responsibilities are managed independently and no substitute teacher fees are incurred.
