Description:
1. In accordance with the letter of the Hakka Affairs Council (hereinafter referred to as the "Hakka Affairs Council") dated February 17, 2020, Ref. No. KHC-LET-1096100218.
2. To encourage schools that excel in Hakka language teaching and promote Hakka language and culture, the Hakka Affairs Council has formulated the "Implementation Plan for Rewarding Schools Promoting Hakka Language Teaching" in accordance with the "Regulations for Rewarding the Promotion of Hakka Language Teaching." Additionally, to commend those who have achieved excellent results in promoting Hakka language and culture, the "Implementation Plan for Rewarding and Empowering Hakka Language Teachers" has been formulated in accordance with Article 9 of the "Hakka Basic Law." These were notified in the letter of the Hakka Affairs Council dated December 18, 2019, Ref. No. KHC-LET-1086102266. Subsequently, by letter of the Hakka Affairs Council dated January 30, 2020, Ref. No. KHC-LET-1096100155, the application deadline was extended to February 15, 2020 (received).
3. In response to the COVID-19 epidemic prevention measures, the start of the school year for all levels has been postponed by two weeks to February 25, 2020. To allow frontline educators actively promoting Hakka language teaching and school administrative staff more time to prepare their applications, the application deadlines for the aforementioned two implementation plans have been extended to March 10, 2020 (postmark date). Late submissions will not be accepted.
