Description:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's letter No. 1090034091 dated March 30, 109.
2. To enable elementary and junior high school teachers and parents to understand the "Cool English Online Learning Platform" (www.coolenglish.edu.tw), a free and high-quality comprehensive English online learning resource developed by the Department, National Taiwan Normal University has been commissioned to organize the aforementioned project. Through functions such as screen sharing and cloud recording of the online video conferencing software Zoom, the Cool English learning resources and features will be introduced to encourage teachers and parents to guide elementary and junior high school students in using the platform resources for learning.
3. The online briefing sessions mentioned above will be held in two sessions for teachers and two sessions for parents, respectively. The times for each session are as follows:
(1) Teacher session times:
1. Session 1: April 8, 109 (Wednesday), 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
2. Session 2: April 29, 109 (Wednesday), 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
(2) Parent session times:
1. Session 1: April 18, 109 (Saturday), 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
2. Session 2: May 16, 109 (Saturday), 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
4. No prior registration is required for this project; you can watch online. The operating procedure is as follows:
(1) Please install the Zoom software before the briefing session begins (Installation and operation instructions: https://reurl.cc/D1GE1m).
(2) When the training activity begins, enter the website https://zoom.us/j/7535648551 and click to open the Zoom meeting to participate.
5. Teachers who attend the entire session will receive 1 hour of training credit on the National Teacher In-service Education Information Network upon completion of the Google form at the end of the course.
