Description:
I. In accordance with the Tainan City Government Education Bureau's letter dated June 8, 109 (109/06/08), Ref. No. Tainan Education Curriculum (I) No. 1090671834.
II. To foster a spirit of curriculum and teaching material research and development among educators, enhance teachers' multicultural teaching abilities, and encourage educators to develop teaching materials integrating multicultural education, thereby incorporating multicultural concepts into teaching activities across all learning domains, the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has commissioned the Tainan City Government Education Bureau to implement the aforementioned project.
III. Participants: In-service teachers, substitute teachers, intern teachers, and new immigrant teaching support personnel at all levels of senior high schools and below nationwide. Registration must be done by school, with a maximum of 6 members per team. There is no limit to the number of submissions per school, and cross-school teams are permitted; however, awards will be based on the registered school.
IV. Categories:
(I) Multicultural Lesson Plan Design Category
1. Elementary School Group: Content applicable to elementary school students.
2. Junior High School Group: Content applicable to junior high school students.
3. Senior High School Group: Content applicable to senior high school (vocational) students.
(II) New Immigrant Language Learning Materials and Lesson Plan Design Category: This category requires at least one new immigrant teaching support personnel to participate in the team. The content should be a creative extension of the Ministry of Education's New Immigrant Language Learning Materials.
V. Registration Method: Participating schools should register online through the dedicated platform for the "109 (2020) National Multicultural Education Excellent Lesson Plan Selection" (https://newres.k12ea.gov.tw/competition) under "Excellent Lesson Plan Selection" / "Register Now."
VI. Submission Information:
(I) Submission Period: From Wednesday, July 1, 109 (2020) to 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 8, 109 (2020).
