Description:
I. The objective of this workshop is to share practical applications of competency-based teaching, assist teachers in enhancing their skills and promoting competency-based instruction, and enable parents to understand competency-based learning methods, so they can practice and implement them in daily life with their children.
II. Participants: Junior high and elementary school teachers, reading teachers, and reading volunteers.
III. Workshop time: August 17, 2020 (Monday) 09:00~16:00.
IV. Workshop location: The school's 2F Audiovisual Classroom (No. 2, Renhe 2nd St., Daxi Dist., Taoyuan City).
V. Workshop materials: Workshop handouts, current issues of CommonWealth Magazine series - "Future Family," "Future Junior," "Future Kids," to be distributed upon check-in.
VI. Workshop curriculum details are in the attachment; lunch on the day of the workshop is self-provided (lunch ordering service available).
VII. Registration method: Teachers from each school should register online through the "Taoyuan City Education Development Resources Portal." Enter "Future Parent-Child Learning Platform" as the event keyword.
VIII. We kindly request that your school grant participants official leave for attending this event during their regular working hours. Participants who complete the entire workshop will receive 6 hours of professional development credit.
