Description:
I. The GEPT exam originally scheduled for Saturday, October 24th, has been postponed by one day to Sunday, October 25th, due to a conflict with the college entrance English listening comprehension exam.
II. The "GEPT Elementary Listening and Reading" test assesses proficiency equivalent to Level A2 of the "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages" (CEFR). Passing this test allows you to apply for a "Listening and Reading Pass Certificate." In the future, you can take additional speaking and writing tests (upon passing, a "Four-Skill Certificate" will be issued), or you can proceed to higher-level tests, or use it as a warm-up exercise before the general academic assessment.
III. Registration for the Elementary Listening and Reading test will open soon. Please announce this to your students. Attached is a "GEPT" Elementary Listening and Reading Learning Resources sheet for your students' reference. Free learning resources are also available on the official GEPT website (www.gept.org.tw).
