Forwarding the Ministry of Education's notice regarding the "Art Education Day" organized by the "2020 ART TAIPEI" of the Gallery Association of the Republic of China. We encourage your school to actively participate.

Description:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter Tai Shi (1) Zi No. 1090097329 dated August 5, 109.
2. The aforementioned expo is the longest-running and grandest annual art event independently operated in Asia, listed as one of the top three expos in Asia. In 109, it is scheduled to be held from October 23 (Friday) to October 26 (Monday) at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1, with an Art Education Day event on October 26 (Monday), guided by the Ministry of Education.
3. Art Education Day is open for group registrations from secondary and primary schools, and the association will arrange pre-event educational courses and on-site guided tours. To encourage active participation from all levels of schools to promote students' cultural experiences, the Ministry of Education will subsidize related expenses. The planned principles are as follows:
(1) 500 discounted tickets will be provided, primarily for general schools (with priority given to art classes or vocational departments related to art and design) and remote schools. The organizer may allocate them based on actual registration.
(2) Each discounted ticket is NT$250 (hereinafter referred to as the same). Students only need to pay NT$100, and the remaining NT$150 will be subsidized by the Ministry of Education.
(3) Round-trip bus fares and insurance fees will be subsidized by the Ministry of Education.
(4) The association will provide teaching materials such as sketchbooks for on-site teaching. The Ministry of Education will subsidize the material costs.
(5) If there are additional expenses such as meal and accommodation fees, they may be covered by the applying unit within its self-raised funds.
4. To effectively manage ticket allocations, schools interested in registering should first contact the Gallery Association of the Republic of China by phone to confirm ticket availability and pre-register. Then, submit the registration form via fax or email. Registrations without prior phone confirmation will not be accepted. Contact information is as follows:

5. It is recommended that the expo be primarily for students in the upper grades of elementary school and above. Those younger than school age may be placed on a waiting list by the organizer. Please also refer to last year's expo content (http://art-taipei.com/2019/tw/) in advance and assess whether it can effectively integrate with student learning before registering.
6. Matters related to financial subsidies will be notified to each registered school in a separate letter after registration is complete. Schools within this city will have their applications consolidated by this bureau and submitted to the Ministry for processing, and they should contribute matching funds according to their financial status. Other national and private schools will be directly assisted by the Ministry of Education.
