Description:
I. In accordance with the Tainan City Government Education Bureau's letter No. Nanshi Jiao Ke (1) Zi Di 1091050659 dated August 28, 2020.
II. To foster a spirit of curriculum and teaching material research and development among educators, enhance teachers' multicultural teaching abilities, and encourage educators to develop multicultural education-integrated teaching materials, the aforementioned plan is hereby organized.
III. Participants: Current teachers, substitute teachers, intern teachers, and new resident teaching support personnel in senior high schools and below nationwide. Registration must be done by school, with a maximum of 6 people per team. There is no limit to the number of submissions per school, and cross-school teams are allowed; however, awards will be based on the registered school.
IV. Categories:
(I) Multicultural Lesson Plan Design Category:
1. Elementary School Group: Content applicable to elementary school students.
2. Junior High School Group: Content applicable to junior high school students.
3. Senior High School Group: Content applicable to senior high school (vocational) students.
(II) New Resident Language Learning Materials and Lesson Plan Design Category: This category requires at least one new resident teaching support person to participate in the team. The content should be a creative extension of the Ministry of Education's New Resident Language Learning Materials.
V. Registration Method: Participating schools should register online through the dedicated platform for the "2020 National Multicultural Education Excellent Lesson Plan Selection" (https://newres.k12ea.gov.tw/competition) under "Excellent Lesson Plan Selection" / "Online Registration."
VI. Submission Information:
(I) Submission Deadline: From now until 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2020.
(II) Submission Method: Please upload your work, letter of commitment, and authorization letter through the dedicated platform for the "2020 National Multicultural Education Excellent Lesson Plan Selection" (https://newres.k12ea.gov.tw/competition) under "Excellent Lesson Plan Selection" / "Online Registration."
