I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter Tai-Jiao-Zi (6) No. 1090133395 dated September 15, 2020.
II. To showcase the overall achievements in talent cultivation for climate change adaptation and to deepen the participation of teachers in related fields from universities, colleges, primary, and secondary schools, the Ministry of Education is organizing the aforementioned event at the National Science and Technology Museum. Details are as follows:
(I) Venue 1 (South Building): For university and college teachers interested in climate change education or individuals from academia, industry, government, and research interested in the climate services industry. In addition to inviting winning teams from the 2020 Climate Change Creative Practice Competition to share their projects, industry experts will be invited to share their visions for the climate services industry and the promotion results of the Living Lab.
(II) Venue 2 (North Building): For primary and secondary school teachers interested in climate change education. Schools that won awards in the 2020 Climate Change Teaching Module Design Competition for Primary and Secondary Schools and pilot schools will share their results. Additionally, there will be a university climate change strategy session introducing curriculum衔接 (xiánjiē -衔接) for high school teachers to university, and a guided tour of the Climate Change Hall and Morakot Hall at the Science and Technology Museum to enhance the importance of environmental sustainability and climate change.
III. Information regarding registration for this event is as follows:
(I) Registration Deadline: From now until September 30, 2020, or until full.
(II) Registration Method: All registrations must be made online (https://forms.gle/hN4CJuFfaDWScWg99). Participants who complete the entire event will receive lifelong learning points for civil servants (environmental education hours) / teacher in-service training hours.
