As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, all colleagues are urged to strictly adhere to the "Taoyuan City Government Employee Integrity and Ethics Regulations."

Details:
1. In accordance with the letter from the Taoyuan City Government's Office of Integrity and Ethics, dated September 16, 2020, document number Tao Zheng Yu Zi No. 1090005524.

2. With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, colleagues are requested to strictly comply with the relevant provisions of the "Taoyuan City Government Employee Integrity and Ethics Regulations" (hereinafter referred to as "these Regulations"). If you encounter situations where individuals, corporations, or organizations with a conflict of interest related to your official duties offer gifts, invitations for entertainment, or requests for special favors, you should refuse or return them in accordance with these Regulations, and report to the head of the agency and notify the Office of Integrity and Ethics for registration.

3. Furthermore, to assist agency heads in avoiding external questioning or damage to the agency's image due to oversight of regulations or lax vigilance, and to create a high-quality work environment for agency heads, enabling them to fully focus on promoting governance, confidential staff and secretarial units who assist agency heads in performing confidential and administrative tasks are also requested to help publicize these Regulations.

4. To implement Article 17 of these Regulations, if you require interpretation of these Regulations, case explanations, or other integrity and ethics consultation services, you may consult the Office of Integrity and Ethics of the Taoyuan City Government's Department of Education. Additionally, to deepen colleagues' understanding of integrity and ethics laws and regulations, please utilize teaching resources such as the Executive Yuan's Public Service Human Resources Development Institute's "e-Learning Platform for Public Servants+" (https://elearn.hrd.gov.tw/mooc/index.php) and select relevant integrity and ethics courses.

5. Attached are one copy each of the "Taoyuan City Government Employee Integrity and Ethics Regulations" and the "Integrity and Ethics Incident Registration Form" (as attachments).
