Description:
I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (hereinafter referred to as the "Department") letter No. Tai Jiao Guo Shu Guo Zi No. 1090110678 dated September 22, 2020.
II. To assist parents of elementary and junior high school students in understanding the free and high-quality English learning resources on the "English Online Learning Platform." By introducing the platform's rich and diverse learning content and the features of each section, parents can be guided to use the platform's resources to help their children learn at home, thereby improving the listening, speaking, reading, and writing English skills of elementary and junior high school students and strengthening overall English learning effectiveness. Therefore, the Department has commissioned National Taiwan Normal University to organize the aforementioned briefing session.
III. Target Audience: Parents who are interested in online English learning courses, concerned about their children's English learning, and wish to improve their children's or their own English learning effectiveness by understanding the diverse learning courses on the "English Online Learning Platform" built by the Department.
IV. The aforementioned briefing session will be held in two sessions: Northern Taiwan and Central Taiwan. The time and location for each session are as follows:
(I) Northern Taiwan:
1. Time: Saturday, October 24, 2020, from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
2. Location: Room 701A, Cheng Da Building, 7th Floor, National Taiwan Normal University (162, Section 1, Heping East Road, Da'an District, Taipei City).
(II) Central Taiwan:
1. Time: Saturday, October 31, 2020, from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
2. Location: Room 207, Memorial Hall, 2nd Floor, Feng Chia University (100, Wenhua Road, Xitun District, Taichung City).

For the Northern Taiwan session, please complete and submit the registration form before 4:00 PM on Friday, October 23, 2020. For the Central Taiwan session, please complete and submit the registration form before 4:00 PM on Friday, October 30, 2020, to facilitate headcount.
