| I. | In accordance with the resolutions of the first meeting of the 109th year of the Ministry of Education's Special Education Administrative Support Network. |
| II. | The Ministry of Education held the first meeting of the 109th year of the Ministry of Education's Special Education Administrative Support Network on September 1, 109. Before the amendment of the "Regulations for the Identification of Students with Disabilities and Giftedness" is finalized, referring to the identification standards for hearing impairment in the regulations, if students under 6 years old have a hearing loss of 21 decibels or more in one ear, or 25 decibels or more for those over 7 years old, assistive devices will be provided according to the student's needs. As for whether students with unilateral hearing loss should wear unilateral or bilateral assistive devices, please follow the professional assessment and judgment of audiologists or other experts and scholars to provide assistance. |
| III. | If your school has students who meet the above criteria, please submit an audiogram (hearing test report) within one year, a diagnosis certificate, or a joint evaluation report (the audiogram should be issued by a specialist physician after a clinic visit, not by an audiologist from a related foundation or hearing aid company) to apply, documenting that the hearing loss meets the application conditions. |
Students with needs, please contact the Special Education Group.
The survey deadline is before October 1st.
