| I. | The school is selecting 23 students for its Science Class in the 110th academic year (both male and female students are welcome). Interested and qualified students can apply directly. The relevant prospectus and application form have been posted on the school's website (https://www.cysh.cy.edu.tw/p/412-1000-665.php), which can be downloaded and used, and will not be sold separately. |
| II. | To help those interested in the Science Class understand the selection and teaching methods, the school is holding an information session for the Science Class admissions. All teachers, parents, and students interested in the Science Class are welcome to attend. |
| (1) | Date and time of the information session: February 2, 110 (Tuesday) 18:30–20:30. |
| (2) | Location of the information session: The school's Historical Relics Museum. |
| (3) | Registration method for the information session: No registration is required; participants can enter directly on the day. |
| (4) | Attendees must wear masks. In response to the government's energy conservation, carbon reduction, and environmental protection policies, attendees are requested to bring their own reusable cups. |
| III. | The following is a brief summary of the important reference dates for the Science Class admissions in the 110th academic year: |
| (1) | February 22–March 5, 110 (Monday–Friday): Mail-in applications. |
| (2) | March 4–5, 110 (Thursday–Friday): In-person applications. |
| (3) | March 10, 110 (Wednesday): Announcement of qualification review results. |
| (4) | March 13, 110 (Saturday): Science aptitude test. |
| (5) | March 27–28, 110 (Saturday–Sunday): Experimental practical assessment. |
| (6) | March 31, 110 (Wednesday): Announcement of Science Class admission results. |
| IV. | No admission tickets will be issued for this selection. Only original valid identification documents (National ID card, health insurance card with photo, residence permit, or passport) will be checked for admission to the selection. Students wishing to participate in the selection must ensure they have their relevant identification documents prepared and bring them on the day of the test. |
| V. | In response to the severe special infectious pneumonia (COVID-19), the school will make rolling announcements regarding various epidemic prevention and examination arrangements starting from February 22, during the application period, and during the testing period, in accordance with the regulations of the Central Epidemic Command Center and the Ministry of Education. Please pay close attention to the relevant announcements in the "Latest News" section on the school's homepage and the Science Class website homepage. |
