| 1. | In accordance with the "Taoyuan City Government Incentive for Indigenous People to Participate in Indigenous Language Proficiency Certification Tests" and our bureau's letter of March 16, 110 (2021), Ref: Tao Yuan Jiao Zi No. 1100003448 (assumed to be received). |
| 2. | Eligibility for Incentive: |
| (1) | Indigenous students who have been registered residents of this city for more than four months, possess indigenous status, have passed the Indigenous Language Proficiency Certification Test (hereinafter referred to as the "Language Certification"), and are currently enrolled in public (private) elementary, junior high, senior high (vocational), or university/college institutions in Taiwan. |
| (2) | General public who have been registered residents of this city for more than four months, possess indigenous status, have passed the Language Certification, and are not students as described above. |
| 3. | Application Qualifications, Deadline, and Procedures: |
| (1) | Application Qualification: Limited to those who obtained the "109 (2020) Indigenous Language Proficiency Certification Test Pass". |
| (2) | Application Deadline: From April 1 to April 30, 110 (2021). |
| (3) | Application Location: |
| 1. | Students: Apply at their respective schools. |
| 2. | General Public: Apply at the district office of their registered household location. |
| (4) | We kindly request your unit to compile a list of applications and complete the first stage of preliminary review. Please submit the paper application documents to our bureau (Recipient: Taoyuan City Government Indigenous Peoples Commission) by mail no later than May 31, 110 (2021). The postmark will be the basis for timeliness; late submissions will not be accepted. Please have your unit stamp the list individually and email the Excel file to 10092548@mail.tycg.gov.tw for the second stage of secondary review. |
| 4. | Circumstances Under Which Incentive Will Not Be Granted: |
| (1) | Having previously received subsidies or incentives for the same certification level. |
| (2) | Having already passed a higher-level certification and subsequently applying for the incentive under these regulations with a lower-level certification. |
| (3) | Providing false information or fraudulent supporting documents. |
| (4) | Having already received incentives or subsidies of a similar nature from other agencies. |
| 5. | We kindly request your unit to meticulously check the application forms against the attached checklist (Required Document Checklist) to facilitate the progress of the secondary review and subsequent related matters. |
| 6. | The aforementioned regulations and electronic files of the application forms can be downloaded from the "Latest News" section of our bureau's official website (https://ipb.tycg.gov.tw/). |
