| Subject: | Attached is the "110th Cool English Reading King" competition guidelines from the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "Administration"). Please refer to the details for your reference. |
| Explanation: |
| I. | In accordance with the Administration's letter No. 1100031725, dated March 25, 110. |
| II. | To help students develop good reading habits and improve their English reading skills, the Administration's "Cool English Online Learning Platform" has specially created the "Reading Fantasy Kingdom" and "Magical Reading Journey" sections. These sections feature a diverse selection of English e-picture books with moderate difficulty, complete with Chinese translations and full-text readings. Quizzes are also provided based on the content to help students assess their comprehension after reading. To encourage elementary and junior high school students nationwide to use the reading materials on this website to enhance their English reading abilities, the Administration has commissioned National Taiwan Normal University to organize the aforementioned competition. |
| III. | The event will run from April 12, 110, to May 14, 110. Participants include students in grades 3-6 of public and private elementary schools nationwide (Elementary School Group) and students in grades 7-9 of junior high schools (Junior High School Group). Please refer to the competition guidelines for detailed information. |
