| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Social Affairs Bureau of Taoyuan City Government dated April 16, 110 (2021), No. 1100031634. |
| II. | The amended Article 14 of the "Act for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities" was promulgated and implemented on January 20, 110 (2021). It stipulates that for individuals whose disability status meets the criteria set by the central health authority for being unable to be alleviated or recovered, or who are exempt from re-evaluation, or who have exchanged their old-system permanent disability handbook issued before July 11, 101 (2012) for a new-system certificate, the municipal or county (city) government may issue or reissue a disability certificate without an expiration date annotation. |
| III. | Attached are samples of disability certificates with and without expiration date annotations. You can also download them from the "Latest News" section under the "Special Education Section" on the Special Education Resource Network of our city (https://special.tyc.edu.tw/). |
| IV. | If you have any questions regarding the identification of disability eligibility, please contact the Social Affairs Bureau (Department) of the municipal or county (city) government where you are registered for confirmation. |
