| 1. | The certification date is October 2, 2021. For registration information, please search for "2021 Hakka Language Proficiency Intermediate and Advanced Certification" (https://reurl.cc/a9nogD). |
| 2. | The bureau has established incentive measures for taking the certification, as follows: |
| (1) | The "2021 Taoyuan City Hakka Affairs Bureau Encouragement for Group Registration for Hakka Language Proficiency Certification Implementation Plan" provides subsidies for registration fees, meals, and miscellaneous expenses for groups of 10 or more. Groups of 15 or more will receive additional subsidies for transportation, work expenses, and insurance. Applications are due by August 13 (Friday). |
| (2) | The "2021 Taoyuan City Hakka Language Proficiency Certification Group Registration Incentive Plan" includes two incentive mechanisms: "Registration Number Competition" and "Pass Rate Competition." The highest rewards for each group are NT$8,000 and NT$10,000 in gift certificates, respectively. |
| (3) | The "2021 Taoyuan City Government Hakka Promotion Study Implementation Plan" allows for commendations for personnel in charge of classes organized according to the plan. Additionally, civil servants and public school teachers who attend 80% or more of the class hours can receive lifelong learning hours. |
| (4) | The "Measures for Encouraging Public Participation in Hakka Language Proficiency Certification Subsidies" offer a NT$2,000 reward for Taoyuan City residents who obtain an intermediate Hakka certificate or NT$3,000 for those who obtain an advanced Hakka certificate. Applicants must apply to their local district office within one month of the certificate's issuance date. |
| (5) | The "Measures for Encouraging Employees of the City Government's Affiliated Agencies, Schools, and Institutions to Improve Hakka Language Proficiency" allow city government employees to take official leave or compensatory leave for participating in the intermediate and advanced Hakka language proficiency certifications in Taoyuan City. Those who pass the intermediate certification can receive a NT$2,000 gift certificate and two commendations, while those who pass the advanced certification can receive a NT$3,000 gift certificate and one merit citation. |
| 3. | The aforementioned rewards (resident certification rewards and employee certification gift certificates) cannot be applied for repeatedly. |
