In view of the advent of the digital age, the increasing popularity of online courses, the necessity of balancing the urban-rural information gap, and factors such as novel coronavirus epidemic prevention measures, the Office of Industry-Academia Cooperation and Extension of Ming Chuan University cares about the development of Taiwan's education. We hope to cultivate the next generation to be capable of facing future challenges, and thus specially organize an online digital camp for specialty exploration. The first courses offered are two digital exploration camp courses: "Science Group" and "Social Group." These courses break through the limitations of time and space, reduce learning costs, and assist junior and senior high school students in exploring their interests and abilities, understanding university clusters, fields, departments, and their industry development and trends. With "digital camps," learning can happen anytime and anywhere. The courses also feature assessment analysis and interactive viewing mechanisms. The instructors come from various academic fields, university departments, disciplines, and industries, and can meet the following needs of junior and senior high school students: 1. To inspire and deepen knowledge and abilities during the junior and senior high school stages. 2. To explore self-interests, abilities, and potential. 3. To understand university departments and future career development, providing reference directions for choosing a major. 4. Experts share their experiences and life examples to inspire students and guide junior and senior high school students in choosing their life direction. |
