110th Cross-border Digital Adaptive Education Teacher Training Workshop

| Subject: | To inform you about the "2021 Cross-Border Transition Digital Adaptive Education Teacher Training Workshop" commissioned by the National Taiwan Normal University on behalf of the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Please acknowledge receipt. |
| Explanation: |
| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (hereinafter referred to as the "Department") dated July 7, 2021, No. 1100083401. |
| II. | The Department aims to assist teachers in understanding students' actual Chinese proficiency and placement strategies through the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL), and to enhance cross-cultural Chinese learning and guidance skills through digital learning platforms. |
| III. | The details of the aforementioned workshop are as follows: |
| (1) | Time: |
| 1. | A total of 2 sessions will be held on August 23, 2021 (Monday) and August 24, 2021 (Tuesday). Each session has a capacity of 70 participants, on a first-come, first-served basis. |
| 2. | Participants can only register for one session. If registered for both sessions, the project will reserve the right to assign a session to the registrant. |
| 3. | Participants who attend the entire session will receive 6 hours of training credit. |
| (2) | Workshop Format: |
| 1. | The workshop will be conducted online via video conferencing (the network link will be provided on the day of the workshop to registered and admitted participants). |
| 2. | Session 1 on August 23, 2021 (Monday): https://meet.google.com/yro-usip-ddz. |
| 3. | Session 2 on August 24, 2021 (Tuesday): https://meet.google.com/eia-yxgs-hhm. |
| (3) | Target Audience: |
| 1. | Administrative staff and teachers in senior high schools and below. |
| 2. | New resident language teachers, Chinese teacher trainees, and teaching staff related to Chinese language support. |
| (4) | Registration Period and Method: |
| 1. | Registration Period: From now until August 16, 2021. |
| 2. | For teachers, please register directly on the National In-service Teacher Training Network. Workshop codes are 3121475 (Session 1) / 3121477 (Session 2). The website is https://www1.inservice.edu.tw/. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis (please check online before the workshop to see if you have been admitted). |
| 3. | For those who are not teachers, please fill in the relevant registration information via the Google Form: https://reurl.cc/0jdkY6. |
| IV. | The aforementioned project is announced on the Cross-Border Transition Student Education Network - Activity Information (website: https://tkids.nknu.edu.tw/). Those interested in participating can download the project details from the website. |
| V. | The bureau approves that school personnel attending the workshop will be granted official leave with pay, with the school's consent. |
