Taoyuan City 110 Academic Year Student Art Competition Implementation Guidelines

I. In accordance with the Implementation Guidelines for the 110th Academic Year National Student Art Competition and the resolutions of the preparatory meeting for the 110th Academic Year Student Art Competition held on August 18, 110.
II. Key dates and matters of the competition are excerpted as follows:
(I) Organizing schools: Yangming High School (North District) and Yangmei Junior High School (South District).
(II) Registration period: From September 18, 110 (Saturday) to September 26, 110 (Sunday) before 23:59, please register students as a school unit on the "Taoyuan City Student Art Competition Registration Website" (http://art105.tyc.edu.tw/).
(III) Artwork submission dates:
1. Elementary school group: October 5, 110 (Tuesday).
2. Junior high school, senior high school, and vocational school groups: October 6, 110 (Wednesday).
(IV) Judging date: October 16, 110 (Saturday).
(V) Announcement of results date: October 19, 110 (Tuesday).
(VI) Return date for artworks that did not qualify for the national competition:
1. Elementary school group: October 20, 110 (Wednesday).
2. Junior high school, senior high school, and vocational school groups: October 21, 110 (Thursday).
(VII) On-site calligraphy writing date for selected works: October 22, 110 (Friday). The on-site writing regulations for Taoyuan City will be announced in a separate letter.
III. Important reminders for the competition are as follows:
(I) Registration method: All registrations must be done online. Submissions will not be accepted if online registration is not completed, nor will submissions be accepted if the wrong group is registered.
(II) For categories such as painting, graphic design, comics, ink wash painting, printmaking, and Western painting that require on-site creation, the specific categories are temporarily not announced. Those who win the top three places in the city's student art competition in these categories and are selected by the national competition judges must participate in the on-site creation on November 13, 110 (Saturday) at 1:30 PM at the Postal Museum (time and location are subject to change and will be notified separately).
(III) To prevent artworks from sticking together in the printmaking category, a transparent plastic film may be used to cover the work. Works that are not dry will not be accepted.
(IV) Please also pay attention to whether the size specifications of the participating students' artworks comply with the competition guidelines. Any non-compliant artworks will be returned.
IV. The implementation guidelines mentioned above are marked in bold or red. This matter concerns the important rights and interests of students. It is imperative that the personnel in charge of your school and the supervising teachers read them carefully and ensure that they are properly communicated to the students and parents involved to safeguard the students' rights to participate in the competition.

VI. For students receiving non-school-based experimental education in the senior high school stage, a copy will be sent to the Senior High School Education Section of this bureau for notification.
