To facilitate the BNT vaccine administration for students aged 12 to under 18, students who receive the vaccine through school-based vaccination, at medical institutions, or by registering and booking on the "COVID-19 Public Vaccination Appointment Platform" are eligible for vaccine leave on the day of vaccination and any subsequent days with adverse reactions. This leave will not be counted towards attendance records and is generally granted for three days (including the vaccination day), with possible extension if necessary.
During the vaccine leave period, if a parent needs to personally care for the student, one parent may apply for epidemic prevention care leave. The aforementioned parents include biological parents, adoptive parents, legal guardians, or other individuals who are primarily responsible for the student's daily care (e.g., grandparents).
