| I. | Based on the Implementation Guidelines for the 110th Academic Year National Student Dance Competition. |
| II. | In conjunction with the revision of the National Student Dance Competition Implementation Guidelines, the revised items in the City Guidelines are as follows: |
| (1) | Article 1: Revised to "Objective: To promote dance art education, cultivate students' interest and ability in dance, and specially hold this competition." |
| (2) | Article 4, Paragraph 3, Subparagraph (6): Revised to "... (Note: These guidelines will be implemented starting from the 112th academic year)." |
| (3) | Article 5, Paragraph 1: Revised to "Classical Dance: Dance with classical style and rich Chinese cultural content and style; ..." |
| (4) | Article 5, Paragraph 2: Revised to "Folk Dance: Dance with Taiwanese folk characteristics, including temple festival dances, seasonal dances, ...." |
| (5) | Article 6, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph (1): Revised to "Group A: Limited to 31 to 50 people. (Only for the 110th academic year)." |
| (6) | Article 9, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph (2), Item 2: Revised to "Schools for children of Taiwanese businessmen in mainland China approved by the government (Huadong, Dongguan, and Shanghai Taiwanese Business Children's Schools) and overseas Taiwanese schools (e.g., Vietnamese Ho Chi Minh City Taiwanese School, Malaysian Kuala Lumpur Taiwanese School, Indonesian Jakarta Taiwanese School, Indonesian Surabaya Taiwanese School), ..." |
| (7) | Article 9, Paragraph 8, Subparagraph (1), Item 1: Revised to "..., with dance content that has Chinese cultural connotations and folk characteristics as the scope of scoring." |
| (8) | Article 11, Paragraph 5: Revised to "During the competition, the organizing unit will provide a set of CD and USB audio equipment for participants. Participants are requested to bring their own music CD or USB with two sets, and the format must be MP3. The CD cover or USB should be labeled with the competition session and competition number. The music CD or USB can only contain one performance track, ..." |
| (9) | Article 11, Paragraph 22: Added "... (Due to the impact of the epidemic, the on-site award ceremony for the 110th academic year has been canceled. Results and certificates will be notified separately by the Department of Education and mailed to the respective schools of the awardees for distribution)." |
| (10) | Article 17: Added "Considering the severe COVID-19 epidemic, this competition will adjust epidemic prevention measures and regulations at any time based on the epidemic level and prevention measures announced by the Central Epidemic Command Center for Severe Infectious Pneumonia." |
| (11) | Article 17 of the Taoyuan City Student Dance Competition Venue Usage Guidelines: Revised to "..., for the 110th academic year, the number of personnel for transporting props and sets for each participating team shall be limited to 10 people; however, for children's dance groups in Group A, the limit shall be 12 people (performance personnel are not included in the calculation); ..." |
| III. | Key matters of the aforementioned competition are summarized as follows: |
| (1) | Competition Venue: Taoyuan Municipal Jianguo Junior High School Activity Center (Address: No. 20, Jiaxin Street, Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City). |
| (2) | Competition Dates: From November 19, 110 (Friday) to November 21 (Sunday), from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The competition schedule will be arranged with Zone 1 first, then Zone 2. |
| (3) | Registration Period: From October 12, 110 (Tuesday) to October 18 (Monday). |
| (4) | Registration Method: |
| 1. | Online Registration: Please log in and register on the National Student Dance Competition Information Network (http://studentdance.perdc.ntnu.edu.tw). After registration, print 4 copies of the paper registration form (including participant list) online, stamp them with the school's seal (group category) or the registration office's seal (individual category). Submit 2 copies to the city's organizing unit, and keep 2 copies for yourself (to be brought to the city and final competitions for check-in and verification). Participants who do not register will not be allowed to compete. |
| 2. | Mail Registration Form: Please complete the online registration within the registration period. Mail the paper form by registered mail with return receipt by October 18 (Monday) (postmark as proof). Late submissions will not be accepted. Mail to Taoyuan Municipal Zhongxing Junior High School to complete the registration process. (Address: No. 122, Wenzhong Road, Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City 330059, Attn: Special Education Group, Counseling Office, Tel: (03)3694315 ext. 640, 600). |
| (5) | Drawing and Team Leader Meeting: |
| 1. | Date: November 3, 110 (Wednesday) at 1:30 PM. Those who are late will have their numbers drawn by the organizing unit in public, and no objections will be accepted. After the drawing, no changes to the list will be allowed. |
| 2. | Location: Conference Room, Taoyuan Municipal Zhongxing Junior High School. No separate notice will be issued. |
| 3. | The drawing will be conducted after the team leader meeting. All participating schools must send representatives to attend to protect their own rights and interests. |
| IV. | The registration process for this competition involves important rights and interests of students and the right to represent the nation in the competition. Therefore, please ensure that your school accurately conveys the competition-related information to students and parents through communication books or notices, and not solely through online announcements or bulletin boards, to protect students' rights and interests. |
| V. | According to Article 12 of the Implementation Guidelines, all competitors (students), team staff, and work personnel participating in this competition shall be granted official (business) leave by their respective schools or organizations. The Bureau will not issue separate leave certificates or attendance certificates. |
| VI. | Due to the impact of the severe infectious pneumonia epidemic, parents will not be allowed to attend the rehearsals and competitions this (110th) year. |
| VII. | The Implementation Guidelines for this competition can also be downloaded and viewed on the National Student Dance Competition Information Network (http://studentdance.perdc.ntnu.edu.tw). |
