| 1. | In accordance with the official letter from National Cheng Kung University dated September 17, 2021, No. 1101102958. |
| 2. | The Vietnamese Studies Center at NCKU has been offering the "International Vietnamese Proficiency Test" since 2017. The test is aligned with the CEFR standards and the Vietnamese language proficiency grading standards announced by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training on September 1, 2015 (So: 17/2015/TT-BGDDT). It is divided into three levels and six grades (3 cap 6 bac): A1 (Beginner), A2 (Elementary), B1 (Intermediate), B2 (Upper-Intermediate), C1 (Advanced), and C2 (Proficient). Currently, it is recognized by the Ministry of Education and numerous Vietnamese studies departments at universities worldwide, including Vietnam National University (Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City), Hanoi University, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Vietnam Institute of Culture and Arts Studies, Hue University, Harvard University (USA), Australian National University (Australia), and Osaka University (Japan), making it the most widely recognized Vietnamese proficiency certification globally. |
| 3. | Since December 2017, the National University of Kaohsiung's Vietnamese Studies Center, and since October 2019, the National Chi Nan University's Southeast Asian Studies Center, have joined as co-organizers. |
| 4. | The "2021 Fall International Vietnamese Proficiency Test" will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Online registration is open from September 15 to October 20, 2021.
